Everything stays with you.

By default, everything stays on your device. You choose two exceptions. iCloud sync copies your data to your own iCloud account, encrypted. On the Mac, your own AI key sends text to the provider you pick. No cloud AI turns the second one off.

Sign in once with Apple, Google or WhatsApp. After that it works without internet. OnVoice checks your account now and then when it is online. We never see your audio, your text or your history.

  • Speech cloud: cut. Transcription happens on your Mac, not in someone else's cloud.

  • Your dictations. Into the app you were typing in. Sent to an AI provider only if you connect your own AI key.
  • Your history. Encrypted on this Mac. Kept for 7 days by default; you choose how long. With iCloud sync on, it is copied to your own iCloud account, encrypted.
  • Meetings. Meeting audio, transcripts and notes stay on this Mac.
  • Your words and your style. Your dictionary, snippets, what OnVoice learns and your My Voice preferences.

What a server ever sees

  • Your account. When you sign in with Apple, Google or WhatsApp, and when the app checks your account.
  • Our servers never see your audio, your text or your history.

No cloud AI

Enforced in the router, not in a toggle.

  • No network call of any kind leaves the dictation pipeline while No cloud AI is on. Your dictations are still saved to your history.
  • Learning keeps working with No cloud AI on. It runs on your Mac. You can switch it off in the Dictionary.
  • You can also turn history off. Or keep it, encrypted, on this Mac.
