Install in seven small steps.

The download is a zip of about 40 MB. OnVoice is signed and notarised by Apple, so it opens like any other app.

  1. Download the OnVoice zip from the button above.
  2. Unzip it by double-clicking the file in your Downloads folder.
  3. Drag OnVoice to Applications.
  4. Open it. macOS asks once because the app came from the internet. Click Open.
  5. Sign in once with Apple, Google or WhatsApp, then come back to OnVoice.
  6. Allow Microphone and Accessibility when asked. The mic listens when you dictate or take meeting notes. Accessibility lets it type the text into the app you are using.
  7. Hold Right Option, speak, let go.

Also try Quill: select text in most apps, press Right Command and Right Option together, pick a style, and OnVoice rewrites it on your Mac.

Requirements

macOS
macOS 14 or later. Apple Silicon recommended.
Internet
Once, to sign in. On macOS 26 OnVoice works without internet right away. On earlier Macs, the first launch downloads a one-time speech model. After that it works without internet too.
Permissions
Microphone and Accessibility.
Updates
OnVoice updates itself. You can also check in Settings, then About.

This is a beta. Here is what that means.

  • Learning from your fixes works in TextEdit, Notes and plain text boxes in Chrome for now. Other apps and browsers are coming.
  • Hindi and Telugu translation are Beta and may need a manual check. Dictation in both is solid.
  • A Mic Mode icon may flash in the menu bar while you dictate. That is macOS noise reduction. OnVoice never uses your camera.
  • Found a bug? Write to privacy@onsuite.in with what you did, what you expected and a screenshot.

Max out your productivity. Get supercharged.
