It learns you

The longer you use it, the better it knows you.

Fix a mistake once and it never has to happen again. OnVoice notices the words it gets wrong, asks before it remembers anything, and keeps up with how you write. Everything it learns stays with you.

You fix it. It asks. It remembers.

  1. 1You fix a word. A name comes out wrong, so you correct it, the way you always would.
  2. 2It asks. "Remember Pria → Priya?" One click. It never learns behind your back.
  3. 3It remembers. Next time, Priya is right, and OnVoice listens for it before you even speak.

A dictation app that gets better with you.

  • A dictionary that builds itself. When it keeps getting a word wrong, it offers "Did you mean Priya? Add to dictionary". Once a word is in, new mishearings link to it on their own, and each word shows how many times it has been fixed.
  • Learns from your fixes. Correct a word OnVoice just typed and it offers to remember it. It looks only at the words it just typed, only on your Mac, and you can switch it off. Today it works in TextEdit, Notes and plain text boxes in Chrome.
  • Yours alone. See everything it has learned, remove any of it, or wipe it with one button. It syncs only to your own iCloud, and only if you turn sync on. Learning runs on your Mac, so it keeps working with No cloud AI on.

Fix learning works in TextEdit, Notes and plain text boxes in Chrome (not on sign-in, payment, mail or health pages). Other apps and browsers are coming. The smart dictionary works everywhere.

Quill and My Voice

Quill rewrites it in your style.

My Voice learns how you write, privately, from your own history on this Mac. It gives your recent writing more weight, so the way it writes for you follows how you write now.

Tell it outright with How I write: tone, length, spelling, habits, and the greeting and sign-off you use in email. It works from your very first dictation. Anything you leave open, OnVoice learns.

My Voice shapes Polish, Concise, Expand, Custom and edits to selected text. The greeting fills in a name only when the name is known; OnVoice never invents one.
